𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 𝐇.𝐄.𝐋.𝐏.

A shared commitment to help young learners brought Mapúa MCM, Carmen Integrated School, DepEd, the alumni community, and program sponsors together for the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement for PROGRAM H.E.L.P.: Help End Learning Poverty.

The agreement was signed by Engr. Alejandro H. Ballado Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mapúa MCM, and Dr. Jackie B. Suniega, School Head of Carmen Integrated School. Serving as witnesses were Mr. Leopoldo D. Aquino, Jr., Director of the Office for Corporate Partnerships and Alumni Affairs, and Ms. Marycon C. Delos Reyes, Director of the Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement.

Also joining the milestone was Dr. Lydia V. Ampo, Cluster 6 Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS), together with Mr. Luigi T. Felicia and Engr. Francis Adrian Gamad, representing the alumni community.

The program was further supported by major sponsors 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 & 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗨𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝘆.

More than a signing, it brought together a community with one shared purpose: helping Grade 1 learners of Carmen Integrated School build stronger reading foundations.

A new milestone for PROGRAM H.E.L.P.: Help End Learning Poverty!

The MMCM College Alumni Association and MMCM High School Alumni Association have become the first organizations to formally adopt and lead the implementation of PROGRAM H.E.L.P., mobilizing the alumni community to support Grade 1 learners of Carmen Integrated School, Tugbok District.

Launched on September 21, 2026, the alumni-led initiative forms part of the fourth year of PROGRAM H.E.L.P. With 31+ trained alumni volunteers and counting, the associations will lead structured reading interventions and assessments from September 2026 to March 2027.

The event also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between Mapúa MCM and Carmen Integrated School, formalizing the partnership for the program's implementation.
Supporting the initiative, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 & 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐔𝐲 sponsored school supplies for 55 Grade 1 learners, along with snacks for the learners, their parents, and alumni volunteers.

From alumni leaders and volunteers to generous community partners, this is Mapúa MCM alumni in action—giving back, serving the community, and helping young learners build stronger foundations, one reading session at a time.

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, through the Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement (CSCE), invites everyone to take part in the Mapúa MCM Mass Blood Donation Drive.

In collaboration with the Mapúa MCM Office for Corporate Partnerships, United Davao Specialists Hospital and Medical Center, Inc., the Mapúa MCM HS and College Alumni Association, and the Subnational Blood Center for Mindanao, this initiative aims to help ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in need while promoting a culture of volunteerism, compassion, and community service.

✅ Must be in good health
✅ Aged 18–65 years old
