𝐑𝐞𝐮𝐊𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 | Today, our beloved Aggies returned to campus—not for a tour, but for a homecoming of the heart. The day began with a warm welcome from our University President, Fr. Karel San Juan, SJ.

They walked again through Bellarmine Building, where it all began—now modernized, still unmistakably home. They lingered in the halls of the old COCOFED Dorm, where lifelong friendships were forged. And they stood in quiet reverence before the Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel—an icon of Mindanao’s multi-ethnic soul, rooted in Catholic faith, adorned in brass, wood, and fabric by local artists.

More than just a reunion, the homecoming was a celebration of lasting bonds, collective achievements, and the timeless calling to be Ateneans for and with others—a legacy that continues to inspire, forty-four years on. Returning as Aggies, rooted as Ateneans.

IN PHOTOS | Ateneo de Davao University, through the Office of Pathways for Alumni Engagement, officially launched the Legacy Project: "Engaging Statue of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Pilgrim Saint," in partnership with Ateneo de Davao High School Batch 1982 on July 26, 2026.

As HS 1982's enduring legacy project, the upcoming installation of the Statue of Saint Ignatius of Loyola at the Ateneo de Davao Senior High School Campus in Bangkal, Davao City, will stand as a lasting testament to the Ignatian ideals of faith, leadership, reflection, and service.

The statue will bear a commemorative plaque recognizing it as A Legacy Project of Ateneo de Davao University High School Batch 1982. Installed in loving memory of Nathan S. Lim, more than a monument, it will serve as a place of reflection, pause, and discernment, reminding all who visit that "life is a journey of faith—where pauses are sacred, and in every step and rest, God is present."
Representing Ateneo de Davao High School Batch 1982 were Mr. Raymond Lumantas, HS ‘82 President, Mr. Benedicto Lim Jr., HS ‘82 Treasurer, and other officers and members.

With the groundbreaking coinciding with the commemoration of the Feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and the 44th Anniversary of Ateneo de Davao High School Batch 1982, this legacy project reflects the enduring generosity of alumni and their shared commitment to preserving and strengthening the University's Ignatian heritage for generations to come.
