(𝐑𝐌𝐂), 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂) , successfully conducted the Departmental Oath-Taking Ceremony of the 𝐂𝐁𝐀, 𝐂𝐀𝐒, 𝐂𝐎𝐀, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐒𝐆 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 on 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 25, 2026, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 3:30 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 5:00 𝐏𝐌 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀, 2𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫, 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 201.

The ceremony served as a significant occasion in formally recognizing the newly elected student leaders who will assume their respective responsibilities in the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐁𝐀), 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐀𝐒), 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 (𝐂𝐎𝐀), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐒𝐆). More than a ceremonial gathering, the event marked the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership grounded in responsibility, accountability, integrity, and service.

The program commenced with an Opening Prayer, followed by the National Anthem, presented through an Audio-Visual Presentation. The Opening Remarks were delivered by 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧, 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of responsible student leadership and meaningful service to the Rizalian community.

The ceremony proceeded with the Presentation of Newly Elected Officers, wherein the elected representatives from each department were formally introduced. The presentation recognized the new 𝐂𝐁𝐀, 𝐂𝐀𝐒, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐎𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐒𝐆 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, who were entrusted with the responsibility of representing and serving their fellow students.

A solemn moment followed through the Administration of the 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐄. 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨, 𝐌𝐀𝐓-𝐆𝐂, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 (𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐀). Through the oath, the newly elected officers affirmed their commitment to faithfully perform their duties, uphold the principles of responsible governance, and serve the student body with integrity and dedication.

The ceremony continued with the Acceptance of Responsibility, featuring representatives from each participating organization. The newly elected governors and SSG Commissioners formally embraced the responsibilities attached to their positions, signifying their readiness to fulfill the trust and confidence given to them by the student community.

Adding significance to the occasion was the Message of Support from the academic and student leadership of RMC. Messages were represented by Dr . 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐁. Representing 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐁. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐏𝐞ñ𝐚𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐫, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝, whose presence conveyed the College of Arts and Sciences’ support for its newly elected student leaders. The message of support underscored the importance of leadership that goes beyond holding a position—leadership that listens, acts responsibly, and places the welfare of the student community at the center of every decision.

The program then proceeded to the Awarding of Certificates, formally recognizing the newly elected officers and commissioners for their successful election and willingness to undertake the responsibilities of student leadership.

The ceremony concluded with the 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐄. 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨, 𝐌𝐀𝐓-𝐆𝐂, 𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐀 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, followed by the Singing of the RMC Hymn, bringing the event to a meaningful close.

Serving as the 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐲𝐳𝐚 𝐎𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐳 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐛𝐢𝐝𝐨, who guided the program throughout the afternoon.

The Departmental Oath-Taking Ceremony stands as a reminder that student leadership is not merely a title, but a responsibility entrusted by the community. As the newly elected leaders begin their respective terms, they are called upon to lead with integrity, uphold accountability, promote unity, and remain committed to genuine service.
