Mintal CHS has already been inspected by personnel from the City Engineer’s Office, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and has been declared SAFE for occupancy. Therefore, FACE-TO-FACE classes will resume tomorrow for ALL grade levels.

Ang Mintal CHS ay nasuri na ng mga tauhan mula sa City Engineer’s Office, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), at Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at idineklarang LIGTAS para sa paggamit at pag-okupa. Dahil dito, magpapatuloy na ang FACE-TO-FACE na klase bukas para sa lahat ng antas o baitang.

In anticipation of possible aftershocks and pending the completion of ongoing structural assessments, government offices in Davao City, including local government offices and national government agencies, shall adopt a work-from-home arrangement tomorrow, June 9, 2026, EXCEPT for offices providing safety and security, health, sanitation, traffic management, social services, and disaster and emergency response services.

The private sector is encouraged to adopt similar arrangements to ensure the welfare and safety of their employees.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions shall remain suspended tomorrow, June 9, 2026, pending the completion of safety inspections.

Educational institutions are encouraged to adopt online or distance learning modalities to ensure the welfare and safety of their students and personnel.

The DPWH has inspected our classrooms and declared that all classrooms are safe. We will now wait for further instructions from DepEd and the City Government.

Naisagawa na ng DPWH ang inspeksyon sa ating mga silid-aralan at idineklarang ligtas ang lahat ng mga classroom. Hinihintay na lamang natin ang karagdagang abiso at mga anunsyo mula sa DepEd at sa Pamahalaang Lungsod.

"My takeaway from the School-Based Training on the Revised Grades 6, 9, and 10 MAPEH Curriculum is that it helped me better understand the changes and expectations of the MATATAG Curriculum. The training provided useful strategies and approaches that will help me deliver more meaningful, learner-centered, and engaging MAPEH lessons. It also strengthened my confidence in planning and implementing lessons that focus on developing learners’ knowledge, skills, and values."
