We will follow memorandum circular no. 29 released from the Malacañang Palace that there will be NO CLASSES in ALL LEVELS nationwide on October 17, 2017 due to the continuing transport strike.

Don't forget to study for your exams. ☺

In view of the Memorandum Circular No. 29 of the Office of the President, work in the local government and classes in both public and private schools from kindergarten to college are hereby suspended on Oct 17, 2017. The notice from the Office of the City Mayor sent out early yesterday evening is hereby superseded by the Circular and should be disregarded. Thank you.

3. Always spend their money from their salaries for the kids with no refund. Correcting the bad habits of their class and giving them hope everyday.

STATEMENT BY MAYOR INDAY SARA DUTERTE ON THE TRANSPORT STRIKE ON OCT. 16, 2017

We fully respect the planned transport strike in Davao City on Monday, Oct 16.

Classes from kindergarten to college will be suspended.

The City Government of Davao will deploy buses to assist passengers. Let us all take this opportunity to observe the streets with less jeepneys and more buses as envisioned in the High Priority Bus system project for the Dabawenyos.

Meanwhile, we remind the public that crimes committed during the strike will not be tolerated. We enjoin the protesters to practice self-restraint in their actions.

Traffic Chief Dionisio Abude will be the point person for the City Government for the strike.
