09.04.2026 | Empowering learners through awareness, meaningful conversations, and responsible choices!
The Peer Facilitators of Maa National High School successfully conducted the โTeen Health Matters: Voice, Challenges, and Changesโ Symposium, an educational activity designed to provide learners with relevant knowledge and awareness about the experiences, challenges, and changes that come with adolescence.
The symposium was conducted in two sessions to accommodate learners from different grade levels:
๐ FIRST SESSION | 8:00 AM โ 11:00 AM
๐ฅ Grade 7, Grade 9, and Grade 10 Learners
๐ SECOND SESSION | 1:00 PM โ 4:00 PM
๐ฅ Grade 8, Grade 11, and Grade 12 Learners
During the sessions, the Peer Facilitators discussed important topics concerning teen health, personal development, responsible decision-making, challenges faced by young people, and the different physical, emotional, and social changes experienced during adolescence.
The symposium also highlighted the importance of student responsibility, discipline, respect, and proper conduct within the school community. Learners were reminded about school rules and regulations, student offenses, accountability, and the importance of following established school policies.
Beyond the discussions, the activity encouraged learners to speak up responsibly, listen to others, make informed decisions, respect personal boundaries, and seek proper guidance when facing challenges.
Through this meaningful activity, the Peer Facilitators continue to encourage learners to become informed, responsible, respectful, and empowered individuals who can positively contribute to their school and community.
๐ฌ Your health matters. Your voice matters. Your choices matter.
Let us continue building a school community where every learner is heard, respected, informed, and empowered. ๐๐ฑ
