𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝟑-𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐒𝐓𝐄) successfully conducted a 𝟑-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 participated in by the 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 of the different programs under the Department, including the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 (𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐃-𝐕𝐄𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐓), held on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟕–𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, as part of the preparation of the future educators for their upcoming 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩.

The first day opened with the session on 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, facilitated by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐂. 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚, followed in the afternoon by the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐄. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞, after which the 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 was conducted.

On the second day, the Fourth Year students participated in sessions on 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐀𝐃) in the morning and 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 in the afternoon, both facilitated by 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐋𝐲𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐨, providing important insights into gender sensitivity, child protection, and the responsibilities of future educators in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and protective educational environment.

The third and final day featured the 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟐 in the morning and the 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭 & 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭 in the afternoon, both facilitated by 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐁. 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐠𝐨, highlighting the importance of data privacy, safe spaces, professional boundaries, and legal responsibilities in the educational workplace.

Through the three-day seminar, the 𝐕𝐄𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 gained valuable insights beyond academic preparation, strengthening their awareness of 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and the responsibilities expected of future educators as they prepare to enter their internship journey.

Last 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 (𝐕𝐄𝐂𝐒𝐂) of the 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 held its 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 for 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕.

The election brought together Values Education with Catechetics students from 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 in a meaningful gathering marked by fellowship, participation, and a shared commitment to the VECSC community.

Religious Club Recruitment Period
August 11-28, 2026 only

-Knights of the Altar (KOA) : an organization of Catholic altar servers (boys and young men) who assist priests and bishops during Mass and other liturgical services.

-Commentators and Lectors Club (CLC) : They guide the church community through the Mass by reading scripture, leading prayers, and making key announcements.

-Crossian Voice (CV) : They lead, guide, enable the whole assembly to celebrate and sing the praises of God.

-Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion (EMHC) :They help distribute the Holy Commuion to people during mass.

-Vocation Discernment Club (VDC) :They promote vocation among Christian community and serve as gift bearers during mass.

All applicants are required to attend a Religious Club Formation on September 7, 2026 at 7:30am-12:00nn for EMHC & Sta. Ana lectors. 2:00PM-4:00PM for the students/liturgical ministers (KOA, CLC, CV, VDC).

Both the students and the employees are invited to join the 3rd day Novena Mass at 11:00AM-12:00NN. Lunch together will follow afterwards.
