𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈 |Honoring the success of the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, held on October 25, 2024, at 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 - 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨.

Their engaging presentations provided practical strategies and motivated attendees to take 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 at all levels. This important event brought together students, faculty, and community leaders with a shared focus on 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. Our respected guest speakers from D-DAYAW INC. —𝗥𝗲𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗠. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮, and 𝗧𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗼𝗻—shared their expertise and inspired participants with valuable insights into 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 and 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.

We are deeply grateful for these remarkable speakers, whose contributions have enriched our understanding and strengthened our commitment to keeping our communities safe. This symposium stands as a reminder of the 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚, 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 as we work together toward a safer future.

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈 | Looking back on our successful Gender Sensitivity Symposium held last September 18, 2024, at The Holy Child College of Davao - Green Meadows Campus.

The symposium highlighted remarkable presentations from our guest speaker Sir Feljohn Jumao-as. Through his discourse on gender stereotypes and prejudices, the College students of The Holy Child College of Davao - GM Campus acquired a more profound comprehension of the necessity of gender sensitivity and fostering of a more gender-inclusive environment.

He also highlighted actionable steps individuals and institutions can take to challenge and dismantle these biases. His engaging delivery informed and inspired students to actively participate in fostering a culture of respect and equality on campus and beyond and to be agents of change in their communities.

ICYMI | On April 27, 2024, The Holy Child College of Davao hosted the first NSTP Day organized by the National Service Training Program (NSTP).

The NSTP Day had the theme: “𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨, 𝘾𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙘 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝” and featured activities challenging the students both physically and mentally.

With the help of CWTS, ROTC, and NSRC Officers, together with our NSTP Coordinator Sir Feljohn M. Jumao-as and CES Coordinator Ma'am Maria Maureen C. Cumla, the NSTP Students were able to enjoy and experience the NSTP Day.
