The City I Choose Is Washington:
Washington had several characteristics, long before he was a leader, that led naturally to his leadership style. He was known for his patience, drive, attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and firm moral conscience. All of these characteristics drew people to him and contributed to their trust in him. Just like me I see my self for having a big patient and also a responsible person and willingly being a good leadership to anyone who trusted me.

Sam Smith, in full Samuel Frederick Smith, (born May 19, 1992, London, England), British soul singer with a mellifluous voice who was noted for lyrics that subverted the notions of romantic love that defined popular soul music.
Smith was raised in Cambridgeshire, born to a father who was a truck driver and greengrocer and a mother who was a banker. Both parents encouraged Smith’s singing at a young age, after the budding vocalist impressed them with a rendition of Whitney Houston’s “My Love Is Your Love.” Smith pursued vocal training and soon appeared in local theatre productions and with Youth Music Theatre UK, going through six managers before ultimately moving to London at age 18 to pursue opportunities there.
The first big break came when Smith teamed with house duo Disclosure on the track “Latch,” which featured Smith’s liquid falsetto vocals astride an effervescent electronic beat. That recording was released in 2012 and emerged as a hit. The collaboration landed Smith a record deal. By early 2013 the singer had released “Lay Me Down,” the first single from Smith’s debut album, In the Lonely Hour. Smith’s vocals were also featured on the propulsive electronica track “La La La” (2013), by producer Naughty Boy. The breakout single from In the Lonely Hour, “Stay with Me,” a keening falsetto ballad that wistfully implores a one-night stand for affection, became a radio staple following its release in 2014. Smith cited the influences of singers such as Houston and Aretha Franklin, who both propelled their powerful, soaring voices to the high end of their registers as they evoked love and loss. Those themes defined In the Lonely Hour, an album that Smith, who was homosexual, had composed in the wake of a romantic rejection by a heterosexual man.
The young vocalist steadily accrued accolades for dulcet stylings, earning comparisons to crooners ranging from Frank Sinatra to Adele. At the 2015 Grammy Awards, In the Lonely Hour was named best pop vocal album, and “Stay with Me” was awarded record of the year and song of the year. Smith was deemed best new artist.
The revelation in early 2015 that the singer had settled out of court with musician Tom Petty over melodic similarities between “Stay with Me” and Petty’s 1989 single “I Won’t Back Down” was tempered by a statement from the rocker expressing goodwill toward Smith and praising the quickness with which the situation was corrected. Also in 2015 Smith sang “Writing’s on the Wall,” which Smith wrote with Jimmy Napes, for the James Bond film Spectre; the duo later won an Academy Award for best original song. During the acceptance speech, Smith misquoted an interview with actor Ian McKellen, incorrectly implying that Smith was the first openly gay man to win an Oscar. The singer expressed regret for the gaffe afterward and took a brief break from the spotlight. Smith’s second studio album, The Thrill of It All, was released in late 2017 and won both popular and critical praise. The song “Him,” a plea for acceptance of Smith’s love for a man, was especially acclaimed. In 2019 Smith announced a nonbinary identity and tweeted that “my pronouns are they/them.”

BLUGRE Coffee continues to expand its franchises outside its comfort zone, with its several branches nationwide and soon outside the country.
Blugre owner Benjamin M. Cuaresma Jr. said they have agreed with their partners to open a branch in New Zealand by second-third quarter in 2018.
Cuaresma said the New Zealand branch is estimated to be a 130-square meters area. He added that the logo of the shop and coffees will be the same, but it would have a little different setup in construction.
"We are just finalizing everything, particularly the food to serve, since New Zealand is another country. But definitely we will bring Davao there as we’re still going to offer what we have here," Cuaresma said.
Aside from New Zealand, Blugre co-owner Judilyn Pagulayan said, Blugre will also open branches in Gaisano-Buhangin, Barangay Mintal in Tugbok District, and Toril District, all in Davao City in 2019.
Aside from branches in Davao City, the coffee shop also has branches at the Malacañang Complex, Taguig City, Taytay in Rizal, Cebu City, Iligan City, Zamboanga City, Koronadal City, General Santos City, and Kidapawan City.
Blugre Coffee was founded 1998 by Gatchi and wife Larcy Gatchalian, both Manilenos who considered themselves as Dabawenyos by heart, before Cuaresma couple bought it from them in November 2011.
Its first branch was mounted at Landco Corporate Center in Bajada, Davao City, followed with another branch at Matina Town Square. Now, it has branches at Davao SM City, Gaisano Mall, and SM Lanang.
Blugre Coffee has been making waves in Davao for its signature drink the Durian Coffeeccino. The native Durian, dubbed as the "King of Fruit," is mixed with pure Arabica coffee, a coffee that is exceptionally tasty and popular, and provides health benefits to its consumers.
Cuaresma said Blugre and its products captured the discriminating taste not only of the locals but also the international market. He added that the coffeeshop is a go-to destination of both Dabawenyos and tourists following its exceptional products, relaxing ambiance, and services.
To improve the distribution of products and growing demand, the Blugre Global Franchising, Inc. entered into an agreement with TR Ikonomical Consultants (TRIC) to use the Ikonomikal Cloud ERP, a world class quality software made by Filipinos using the latest cloud technology.

From Fall 2011, Kate Moss was Mango's muse. She first appeared in a video featuring Terry Richardson who shot the campaign and directed the commercial. Moss was replaced by Australian model Miranda Kerr.
In April 2011, Letizia, Princess of Asturias visited company headquarters wearing a Mango outfit.

According to the article, as companies contemplate adjustments to their global strategies, it is important to recognize how much continuity there still is even in a period of wrenching change. The idea of a world where economic efficiency alone drives patterns of international flows was always a myth. Globalization has always been an uneven process, with cross-country differences and international conflicts significantly dampening international flows. That’s a big part of why — even before the present crisis in Ukraine — only about 20% of global economic output ended up in a different country from where it was produced. As the landscape shifts, global strategies must be updated, but managers should avoid the costly overreactions that tend to follow major shocks to globalization.
