We provide environments that encourage active and collaborative learning, as well as a variety of peer-led academic support services that help students succeed. A learning center is a self-contained section of the classroom where students engage in self-directed and independent learning activities. The following are the services that Echelon Learning Center offers:
General Services:
• Peer Tutoring
On all campuses, walk-in group tutoring is available, as is one-on-one tutoring is also offered.
• Academic Coaching
A comprehensive service for students looking to improve their academic and self-management abilities, such as time management, critical thinking, and study skills
• Writing Tutoring
Our teachers would assist in a variety of writing courses. Teachers would meet with students individually to discuss brainstorming topics, organizing ideas, developing research, constructing paragraphs, and developing an argument.
• Academic Advising
Academic advising is a developmental process that assists students in clarifying their life / career goals and developing educational plans to achieve these goals. It is a decision-making process through which students achieve their full potential. Educational potential can be realized through communication and information exchanges with an advisor; this process is on-going, multifaceted, and the responsibility of both the student and the advisor.
