NATIONAL ARTS MONTH 2022
Theme: "SINING NG PAG-ASA"
Presidential Proclamation No. 683, signed by then-President Corazon Aquino in 1991, designates February as National Arts Month to honor creative excellence and pay tribute to the richness and variety of Filipino heritage and culture.
This year's theme, "Sining ng Pag-asa," strives to honor the arts as a source and expression of hope, as seen by our creative responses to the effects of pandemic, natural catastrophes and other societal issues, as well as the importance of the arts in strengthening our community life as Filipinos.
The celebration also serves as a framework and road map for advancing culture and the arts as a vital component of improving quality of life, improving education, and celebrating the community. It has the ability to promote community awareness, engage residents in meaningful debate, expand access to the arts and culture, and generate enthusiasm and momentum for community enrichment and economic growth.
In celebration of National Arts Month 2022, we invite students from cluster 6 to participate in our arts competitions. Winners will receive prizes and certificates!
