As many have gone on to reach new heights, new goals, and new opportunities, there will always be a part of us that looks back on where it all began. With the upcoming 𝐂𝐄𝐄 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, we once again invite our dear alumni to come home, reconnect, and walk through the memories that shaped a part of their journey.

With this, we would also like to present the registration details for the upcoming homecoming. A registration fee of 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀 will be collected and used for the preparation and conduct of the event, and the deadline for payment will be on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

2. Search for 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼.
3. Enter the 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 and choose 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 as 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵.
4. Fill in your 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 and 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗗 (not the Alumni ID). In case that you have forgotten your student ID, just type “𝗖𝗘𝗘 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴”
5. For the 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, select “𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗖 & 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀”

As the day draws near, we hope to gather once more with the people and memories that made those years meaningful. Because no matter how far we go, we still remember where it all began.

The Mechanical Engineering community proudly recognizes our outstanding scholar participants who represented with excellence during the DOST Scholars Leadership Camp (SLC) held last May 6–10, 2026 at Emilia Oases of Faith, Samal, Davao del Norte. 🌊💙

Through this meaningful experience, our ME scholars were able to strengthen their leadership skills, build friendships with fellow scholars, and embody the values of service, excellence, and unity. Their participation reflects not only academic dedication, but also their commitment to becoming future engineers and leaders who will create positive impact in their communities.

The Mechanical Engineering Program proudly invites students, faculty, researchers, and engineering enthusiasts to join the Professional Extension Training entitled “Mastering the Mesh: Your Guide to FEA – Optimizing for Accuracy and Efficiency with Finite Element Analysis.”

This specialized SolidWorks FEA Basics Training is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), focusing on mesh generation, convergence analysis, element orders, and validation techniques essential in modern engineering design and simulation. Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to optimize simulation accuracy and efficiency while validating designs before actual prototyping.

The training will be conducted on May 22–23, 2026 at the B.E. 212 CAD Laboratory, B.E. Building, University of Mindanao – Matina Main Campus. Through hands-on activities and guided demonstrations, attendees will develop foundational skills in simulation-driven engineering using SolidWorks FEA tools.

Limited slots are available to ensure quality instruction and hands-on learning experience. Interested participants are encouraged to register early.
