📋 ADMISSION CRITERIA

For Incoming SPSTEM Grade 7:
English, Math, & Science: Must have a minimum grade of 85%
Other Subjects: Must have a minimum grade of 83%

For Incoming SPSTEM Grade 8, 9, & 10:
English, Math, & Science: Must have a minimum grade of 90%

Other Subjects: Must have a minimum grade of 87%

SPECIAL PROGRAM IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS (SPSTEM)

The SPSTEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Program) is a specialized educational initiative under the Department of Education (DepEd) designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This program supports the K to 12 curriculum by promoting critical thinking, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills, preparing students to address the demands of a rapidly advancing world.
The Special Program in STEM (SPSTEM) targets students with a keen interest and aptitude in these fields. It offers an advanced and integrated curriculum that incorporates hands-on learning experiences, real-world applications, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies. The program emphasizes the development of future scientists, engineers, doctors, and professionals aligned with research, focusing on areas such as medical research, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation.

REQUIREMENTS
A photocopy of Grade 6 Report Card with grades from 1st to 3rd quarter
Birth Certificate
2x2 Id Picture (White Background)
Completed Application Form

All requirements must be submitted to the Science Department at F. Bustamante National High School.

Eligibility:

Incoming Grade 7 students
Must have 85 or higher in Science, English, and Math in Grade 6 (1st to 3rd quarters)
No grade lower than 83 in other subjects

The Selection Process:
Step 1: Initial Screening (Review of grades: 85 or higher in Science, English, and Math; no lower than 83 in other subjects)
Step 2: Written Exam (Date to be announced. Only those who pass the initial screening will be eligible to take the written exam.)
Step 3: Interview (Date to be announced.)
