The Senior High School Department of San Pedro College proudly celebrates the successful kickoff and culmination of the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Project in partnership with Hayek Global College, Brazil.
This cross-cultural academic collaboration brought together students from the Philippines and Brazil to explore and compare mathematical problem-solving approaches in Statistics, Probability, and Calculus. Through collaborative discussions, peer learning activities, and joint outputs, participants exchanged perspectives shaped by culture, education, and real-world applications of mathematics.
The project was facilitated by Senior High School Faculties Mr. Renn John Gerona and Mr. Ariel Pastera from San Pedro College, together with Prof. Lucas Siqueira from Hayek Global College, fostering meaningful academic exchange and global collaboration among students.
This initiative reflects SPCโs commitment to SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through inclusive international education and intercultural learning experiences.

SHS GRADUATION โ26 | END OF BEGINNING
The Ninth Commencement Exercises of the San Pedro College - Senior High School (SPC-SHS) held at SMX Convention Center Davao on May 26, 2026, were filled with a multitude of feelings as they bid farewell to the Class of 2026 and open another chapter of their lives.
Presented by Allene L. Sayas-Tan, LPT, MED-LT, MGC, Assistant Principal of the Senior High School Department, the Class of 2026 is composed of 17 graduates from the ABM Strand, 21 graduates from the HUMSS Strand and 316 graduates from the STEM Strand, with a total of 354 graduates overall. Sr. Aida T. Frencillo, OP, College President, handled the distribution of diplomas and presentation of medals.
On this momentous occasion, Renzo Gabriel P. Escovilla, Class Valedictorian of 2026, delivered a heartfelt speech about the memories shared during the two-year journey that shaped them into the people they are today as the graduates embark on their own journeys in life.
โWe often think the moments that shape our lives will arrive in grand and unforgettable ways. But sometimes, they begin quietly โ through ordinary moments that slowly become part of who we are. And before we even realize it, we find ourselves standing at the end of a chapter that changed us forever,โ he opens his speech.
To all the graduates, Mr. Escovilla leaves this quote: โLife will eventually pull us toward different places, different people, and different futures, but no distance will ever change the fact that for one beautiful chapter, our paths became one.โ
Spearheaded by Sr. Aida T. Frencillo, OP, College President, the ceremony continued with the recognition of parents and presentation of administrators, faculty and non-teaching personnel who made this moment possible.
Followed by the recital of the Pledge of Loyalty, instigated by Alexandria Monique L. Tuvera, STEM, with High Honors and the induction to the SPC Alumni Association, headed by Leah Zamora, RN, MAN, Vice President of the SPC Alumni Association.
Concluding the ceremony, the graduates, along with the faculty and staff, sang a triumphant and fervent rendition of the SPC School Hymn, marking the end of their journey as students of SPC-SHS.
This ceremony is a celebration and a symbol of the graduatesโ perseverance and accomplishment. It does not mark the end of their journey but rather the beginning as they continue another chapter of their lives beyond the walls of SPC-SHS.
