The Davao Durians elementary table tennis doubles teams—both composed of young guns from Balete Elementary School—are headed to the gold medal round after sweeping their semifinal assignments earlier today, February 25.

Boys' Division:

Joshua Jonard J. Quibol and Dave R. Baco showed no signs of slowing down, dismantling their semifinal foes in straight sets to set up a finals showdown against the Davao de Oro Golden Thunderbolts. Coached by Landelino P. Darlo, the unbeaten duo has been nothing short of dominant, dropping zero matches on their path to the championship round.

Girls' Division:

Alexandra S. Soliva and Sarah Jean B. Radana carved their own path to glory, overcoming their semifinal challenge with poise and precision. Under the watch of coach Narpaul Ennon P. Darlo, the girls' pair now faces the Davao del Sur Cobras in a winner-take-all gold medal match.

Both pairs stand one win away from glory.

The Golden Thunderbolts and the Cobras stand in their way. But these Durian paddlers from Balete Elementary are ready to seize the moment and bring home double gold for Davao.
