ANNOUNCEMENT: CLASS SUSPENSION📣📢

Due to the strong earthquake that struck earlier today, June 8, 2026, classes at all levels are SUSPENDED tomorrow, June 9, 2026.

This decision is made to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone. The time will be used to conduct thorough inspections of all school buildings, facilities, and classrooms to check for possible damage or structural issues. We want to make sure that our school grounds are safe, secure, and free from hazards before we resume classes.

In anticipation of possible aftershocks and pending the completion of ongoing structural assessments, government offices in Davao City, including local government offices and national government agencies, shall adopt a work-from-home arrangement tomorrow, June 9, 2026, EXCEPT for offices providing safety and security, health, sanitation, traffic management, social services, and disaster and emergency response services.

The private sector is encouraged to adopt similar arrangements to ensure the welfare and safety of their employees.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private educational institutions shall remain suspended tomorrow, June 9, 2026, pending the completion of safety inspections.

Educational institutions are encouraged to adopt online or distance learning modalities to ensure the welfare and safety of their students and personnel.

Galon Elementary School successfully concluded the ARAL Summer Program 2026 on June 2! 🎉 It was a summer well spent—learning, exploring, and growing together.

True learning means choosing to grow, even during the break. These past weeks showed us that education is a continuous journey, and every effort today builds a brighter tomorrow. Being an Active, Responsible, Able, Lifelong Learner means never stopping to improve.

📌 To our Tutees: Learning does not end here. Bring with you the lessons, values, and friendships you gained. Stay curious, keep asking, and keep learning!

Tema- Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman.

Opisyal na nagsimula ang Brigada Eskwela sa Galon Elementary School ngayong araw, Hunyo 1 hanggang Hunyo 5, 2026, kasabay ng pagbubukas ng pagpapatala para sa darating na taong panuruan.

Sa pamamagitan ng diwa ng bayanihan, tayo ay nagkakaisa upang linisin, ayusin, at pagandahin ang ating paaralan para sa mga mag-aaral. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng g**o, magulang, at mga boluntaryo na handang tumulong at magbigay ng oras at lakas.

Ang paaralang ito ay para sa lahat—at sama-sama nating itataguyod ang maayos at masiglang pagkatuto.
