πΉ July 17, 2026 (8:00 AM β 12:00 NN) β College Orientation for 2nd Year to 5th Year students, to be held via Google Meet.

πΉ July 21, 2026 (8:00 AM β 4:00 PM) β Freshmen and Transferees' Orientation (morning) and Club Day & Booth Exhibits (afternoon), at the Grounds & Sky Gym. Activities include the Official Opening of the Main Gate, Club Day, Centerstage Performances, and Booth Exhibits and Mini Games.
πΉ July 22, 2026 (8:00 AM β 4:00 PM) β SAFE FLIGHT: A JMarian Seminar on Student Welfare, Safe Spaces, and Digital Responsibility, at the Sky Gym. Topics include the Anti-Bullying Act (RA 10627), Anti-Hazing Law (RA 11053), Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), Digital Literacy, and Understanding Abuse, Gender Sensitivity, and Respectful Campus Environment.
π All first-year students and transferees are required to attend the Freshmen and Transferees' Orientation and the SAFE FLIGHT Seminar. Other students are welcome to join the Club Day and Booth Exhibits depending on their availability.

JMCFI Advances Internationalization Through Global Research Engagement
Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) proudly advances its internationalization efforts through its participation in the 9th Foreign Language Learning and Teaching (FLLT) 2026 Conference: ELT Research and Practice in the Era of Educational Innovation, held on July 3β4, 2026, at the Ambassador Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
Representing the JMCFI-College of Teacher Education, Dr. Jennelyn Suico and Ms. Jeane S. Dagatan presented their respective research papers during the international conference.
Dr. Jennelyn Suico presented the research entitled:
βCommunicative Competence and English Self-Efficacy as Predictors of English Language Anxiety of Teacher Education Students: An Explanatory Sequential Design.β
Ms. Jeane S. Dagatan presented the research entitled:
βEchoes of the Classroom: Challenges Faced by Education Students Using English as Medium of Instruction.β
The study was authored by Alexis Reign Colonia, Ivy Grace Dalugdog, Sittie Norhaima Mindalano, and Kenneth Tripoli, with Ms. Dagatan serving as the research adviser and co-author.
The studies contribute to the advancement of quality teacher education and support Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by addressing key factors that influence language learning and future educator development.
The FLLT 2026 Conference convenes educators, researchers, and language experts from various countries to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore innovations in language education. JMCFI's participation reflects the institution's continuing commitment to academic excellence, global engagement, research productivity, and meaningful international collaboration.
Congratulations to our esteemed faculty researchers for representing JMCFI on the international stage and for bringing honor to the institution through their scholarly contributions.
