The Davao Central College Basic Education Department successfully conducted a campus-wide Earthquake Drill on July 29, 2026, across the Sky Gym and Asuncion Hall.

The activity was actively assisted by the Senior Plus Red Cross Volunteers (SPRCY), safety oversight, and guidance to ensure an orderly and effective ex*****on of emergency response protocols.

Congratulations to our DCC SPRCY members Niecy Gwyneth Lansang , Gweyneth Jean Buhayan, and Keziah Ezrha Vergara for winning the Blood Jeopardy competition during the Pledge 25: 28th Anniversary Celebration, held at Ateneo de Davao University on July 25, 2026!

On July 25, 2026, student leaders and members from the Davao Central College Senior Plus Red Cross Youth actively participated in the 28th anniversary of Pledge 25, held at the Ateneo de Davao University.

The event highlighted the crucial role of the youth in sustainable advocacy and voluntary blood donation campaigns across Davao City.

Through dedicated teamwork, our officers and members joined the event Poster Making, Bloody Jeopardy: A Jeopardy Rendition, Bloodline: A Chain of Events, successfully securing awards in several categories while balancing valuable training with institutional merit.

Davao Central College Senior Plus Red Cross Youth (SPRCY) aligns for a new administrative year. The senior council successfully conducted its first general assembly on July 21, 2026.

The session began with an orientation on the history of the Red Cross, followed by a video presentation showcasing the achievements and events of the previous school year. The assembly also served as a venue for introducing the elected officers, culminating in the election of new officers to fill vacant positions tasked with driving community service and youth leadership.

Last July 16, 2026, the Senior Plus Red Cross Youth (SPRCY) Officers successfully conducted the Physical Agility Test (PAT) for aspiring members.

With approximately 66 participants, the event showcased determination, strength, stamina, teamwork, and resilience as each applicant gave their best in every challenge. The PAT was not only a test of physical capability but also of
perseverance, commitment, and the willingness to serve others.

To everyone who stepped up and accepted the challenge—thank you for your courage and dedication. Your journey toward becoming part of the Senior Plus Red Cross Youth has only just begun.
