UMPS Goes Global!

The University of Mindanao Professional Schools proudly joins the World Russian Championship—an international competition that celebrates Russian language proficiency, cultural understanding, creativity, and teamwork.

Representing UMPS are three Doctor of Business Administration students:

The team is guided by Dr. Natalia Sabaldan, Professor of Russian Foreign Language at the UM Professional Schools.

The University of Mindanao Professional Schools invites foreign nationals and non-Filipino citizens to apply for its Graduate Studies Scholarship Grant for master’s and doctoral programs.
The grant covers tuition, miscellaneous, laboratory, graduation, thesis/dissertation, and research-related fees. Classes are offered through blended Online Distance e-Learning, while the final defense and graduation must be attended onsite.

Applicants must submit a letter of intent, school or university endorsement, scholastic records, and proof of English proficiency with an IELTS overall band score of 6.0 or its equivalent.

University of Mindanao Professional Schools and LGU of Panabo Forge Strategic Partnership

The University of Mindanao Professional Schools (UMPS) and the Local Government of Panabo formally forged their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on April 28, 2026, at the UM Conference Room. The event gathered key officials and administrators from both institutions, highlighting a shared commitment to collaborative initiatives in education.

Among those present were Dr. Eugenio S. Guhao Jr., PS-Dean and Chief Academic Officer (CAO); Mr. Pedrito Misoles, Department Head and City Administrator of Panabo; Jan Mari G. Café, Department Head I (City Human Resource Management Officer); and Lorvena O. Garcia, Administrative Officer II for LGU Panabo.

The MOA signing marked a significant milestone, symbolizing mutual cooperation and shared goals between UMPS and the city government.
