Crossing Bayabas National High School - It’s this time of the year again where campus journalists from all over Davao City gather to learn not just the technicalities of their events but also the deeper meaning of their craft as well.
Last Saturday, the journos not only received additional information but they had a rare chance to make friends from their new peers.
As all CJs continue their journey, may they always remember the essence of journalism, be the voice of the voiceless and the light to others.

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan! 🇵🇭

Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-128 anibersaryo ng Proklamasyon ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas, kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa pagpupugay sa katapangan at sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani na nagbukas ng landas tungo sa ating kasarinlan.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang pamana upang patuloy nating mahalin ang bayan, pahalagahan ang kalayaan, at magkaisa para sa mas maunlad na kinabukasan ng bansa.

As we begin another school year, let us foster a learning environment that is not only engaging and productive but also safe and prepared.

In light of the recent earthquake felt in parts of Mindanao, we encourage all learners, teachers, parents, and school personnel to remain vigilant and familiarize themselves with their school's safety and emergency procedures.

✅ Know your school's evacuation routes and designated safe areas.
✅ During emergencies, protect yourself from falling objects and other hazards.

Congratulations to Coleen C. Villafane for winning First Place in Mobile Journalism Filipino at the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference held at Crossing Bayabas National High School, Toril, Davao City last December 1 - 5, 2025. Coleen bested numerous campus journalist from private and public schools.

Coleen’s victory emphasizes not just her beauty but mostly her ability to capture the most pressing issues of the community

Adding to our roster of DSPC champions are Athenna Jane B. Agrava, Top 12, Second Round Qualifier for Pagsulat ng Lathalain and Danica L. Luciano, Top 15, Second Round Qualifier for Pagguhit ng Kartong Editoryal.
