Today, we celebrate the feast of St. John Francis Regis, a Jesuit whose life reminds us that holiness is often found in faithful service, even when the journey is difficult. He walked great distances to bring God's mercy to others, preached with simplicity, cared for the poor, and remained steadfast in his mission until his final breath.

As we honor his witness, let us pause for a brief moment for this prayer:

Prayer:
Loving God, grant me the eyes to you today in my life. Let my heart remain geateful throughout the day.

Notice:
Where can I encounter God in the people I met, the work I do, or the quiet moments of this day?

Like St. John Francis Regis, am I choosing love, compassion, and faithful service even when it is inconvenient or difficult? (Pause)

Prayer:
Dear God, turn your loving eyes to me. Grant your Holy Spirit that the life of St. John Francis Regis inspire me to keep walking with courage, to serve with humility, and to trust that even the smallest acts done with great love will lead me closer to God.

St. John Francis Regis, pray for us.
