𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Faculty Development Summit
In preparation for the First Term of Academic Year 2026–2027, LPU Davao conducted its Faculty Development Summit on July 31, 2026, at Freedom Hall, bringing together faculty members and academic leaders for a day dedicated to learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
Anchored on the theme, “Empowering Educators for Excellence: Advancing Rights, Well-Being, and Continuous Quality Improvement in Higher Education,” the summit featured keynote presentations, insightful discussions, a faculty talk show, sessions on e-learning and continuous quality improvement, an open forum, and the recognition of top-performing faculty members. These activities reinforced the institution’s commitment to fostering excellence in teaching and strengthening academic leadership ahead of the new term.
By investing in the continuous development of its educators, LPU Davao advances Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 (Quality Education), ensuring that faculty members are equipped with innovative teaching strategies and best practices that enhance student learning. The summit also promotes SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by emphasizing educators’ rights, welfare, and holistic well-being as essential foundations of a productive academic community.
