With hearts ready to lead and serve, the Junior High School SSLG officers and student representatives of 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 proudly participated in the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 2026 held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 18-20, 2026 at Gabi National High School, Compostela, Davao de Oro.

For three meaningful days, our young leaders took part in leadership development sessions, parliamentary procedures, mental health and peer support, action planning workshops, team-building activities, and collaborative learning with fellow student leaders across the Municipality of Compostela. This experience strengthened their commitment to becoming responsible, compassionate, and service-oriented leaders.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗩. 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗮, for her unwavering support and encouragement that made our learners’ participation in this activity possible.

Teachers from every Key Stage actively participated in the 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘀, sharing insights and providing constructive feedback to strengthen their respective 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻/𝗘𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 based on assessment data, least learned competencies, and identified learner needs. 📊📝

The activity also featured the 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗲-𝗦𝗔𝗧), which provided teachers with an opportunity to reflect on their professional practices, identify areas for growth, and set directions for continuous improvement. The session was facilitated by 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗦. 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗽 Master Teacher I, whose guidance and expertise helped teachers better understand and accomplish the tool. 💻✨

Bongkilaton Integrated School successfully conducted the Symposium on Kabataan Ligtas at Pantay on September 2, 2026, in partnership with the Compostela Municipal Police Station.

The activity aimed to raise awareness and empower learners and teachers on crime prevention, online safety, bullying prevention, and gender-based violence, while promoting a safe, respectful, and gender-responsive learning environment. 💙

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Resource Speaker, 𝗣𝗠𝗦𝗴 𝗝𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗗. 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗮, for sharing her valuable knowledge, insights, and guidance with our learners and teachers. Your commitment to educating and empowering the youth is truly appreciated. 👮‍♂️👏

Bongkilaton Integrated School proudly celebrated 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬' 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2026 through a meaningful gathering that honored the rich culture, traditions, and identity of our Indigenous Peoples.

The celebration highlighted the vibrant heritage of our IP community through traditional attire, cultural presentations, indigenous food sharing, and enriching learning activities that strengthened awareness, appreciation, and respect for Indigenous Peoples' culture and heritage.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝 𝐒. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚 for serving as our 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 and for sharing valuable insights on the Importance of Indigenous Peoples' Rights and Heritage.
