In view of the First Regular Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections scheduled on September 14, 2026 (Monday), and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1395 issued by His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., declaring September 14, 2026 (Monday) as a Special (Non-Working) Day throughout the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to provide the people of Bangsamoro the opportunity to actively and fully participate in the electoral process, all concerned are hereby informed of the observance of the said special non-working day.

Furthermore, pursuant to Proclamation No. 0007, Series of 2026, issued by the Office of the Chief Minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), declaring September 15, 2026 (Tuesday) as a Regional Special (Non-Working) Holiday throughout BARMM, the school shall likewise observe the said declaration.

In this regard, Gani L. Abpi College, Inc. shall suspend classes, office transactions, and regular school operations on September 14 and 15, 2026 (Monday and Tuesday) in observance of the declared special non-working days.

All faculty members, administrative personnel, students, and stakeholders are advised to take note of this announcement and make the necessary arrangements.

Regular classes and office operations shall resume on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, unless otherwise announced by the school administration.

IGNITING LEADERSHIP: EQUIPPING LEADERS WITH KNOWLEDGE TO BECOME EFFECTIVE LEADERS

Today, September 11, 2026, marks a significant milestone as we hold the first-ever Parliamentary and Capacity Building Seminar Workshop 2026, with the theme “EMPOWERING LEADERS: TRANSFORMING GOVERNANCE.”

This meaningful activity aims to enrich the knowledge, skills, and awareness of HEU Student Leaders regarding their duties, responsibilities, and roles in promoting effective and responsible student governance. It serves as a platform for leaders to learn the principles of parliamentary procedures, proper decision-making, leadership ethics, communication, teamwork, and organizational management.

Beyond gaining knowledge, this seminar-workshop seeks to inspire student leaders to become more competent, accountable, confident, and service-oriented leaders. Through meaningful discussions, interactive activities, and the sharing of ideas and experiences, participants are given the opportunity to strengthen their leadership capabilities and better understand the importance of working together for the welfare of the student body.

Leadership is not simply about holding a position, it is about serving with purpose, making responsible decisions, listening to others, and creating positive change. By equipping our student leaders with the right knowledge and skills, we empower them to become leaders who can transform governance and contribute to a stronger, more united, and progressive school community.

May this first-ever seminar-workshop ignite a lasting passion for leadership and service among our student leaders. May the knowledge gained today serve as a foundation for better governance, meaningful action, and responsible leadership.
