Attention, DCSians! 💙💛

In view of the continued heavy rainfall and in accordance with the advisories and directives issued by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), Alternative Learning Modes (ALM) will be implemented on September 4, 2026 to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of our learners and personnel.

Let us continue learning from the safety of our homes, accomplish our assigned learning tasks, and stay connected with our teachers.

Your safety matters, DCSians. Keep learning, wherever you are!

ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Tarlac
📍 Pampanga
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna

The measure is in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and poor air quality in the NCR caused by haze from severe forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia.

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.

17/08/2026

While face-to-face classes are suspended, our commitment to learning continues.

Students may shift to alternative learning modalities or online classes to ensure the continuity of learning.

Kindly stay updated through the official school announcements and your respective class communication channels.

Please be guided accordingly, DCSians! Stay safe and keep learning! 📚✨
