🌎🤝🇺🇸🇵🇭 Building Global Connections Through COIL

Cultural Anthropology students from Anne Arundel Community College (Maryland, USA) and International Tourism Management students from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (Cavite, Philippines) are coming together through MOSAIC: Multicultural Online Spaces for Anthropological Integration and Collaboration, a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiative that bridges cultures, ideas, and learning communities across continents.

Through this international collaboration, students engage in meaningful discussions, cross-cultural exchanges, and collaborative activities that deepen their understanding of diverse cultural perspectives and contemporary global issues. The program provides a unique platform for participants to learn from one another, broaden their worldviews, and develop the intercultural competencies needed in an increasingly interconnected world.

Under the guidance of Dr. Amy Carattini and Dr. Paul Anthony Notorio, the MOSAIC project promotes global citizenship, mutual respect, and academic collaboration while strengthening educational ties between the United States and the Philippines. By connecting classrooms across borders, students gain valuable insights into culture, identity, and society, enriching both their academic journey and personal growth.

📅 September 3 to November 5, 2026

Together, we celebrate diversity, cultural exchange, and the transformative power of international partnerships in education.
