DLSU-D and AASHPI Renew Partnership to Advance Research Excellence

De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) reaffirmed its commitment to advancing scholarly innovation by renewing its partnership with the Asian Association of School Human Resource Management and Development Practitioners, Inc. (AASHPI) via an online Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing on July 24, 2026. Representing the organizations were AASHPI President Ms. Rosario Olalia alongside DLSU-D key officials, including Vice Provost for Research Dr. Johnny Ching and University Research Office Director Dr. Aims Rocina.

This renewed agreement aims to strengthen the University’s research ecosystem through joint publications, capacity-building trainings, shared expertise, and expanded professional networks. By joining forces with AASHPI, DLSU-D continues to empower its faculty and researchers with enhanced opportunities for professional development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and impactful knowledge dissemination in education and human resource management.

DLSU-D Joins Indonesian Embassy Forum on Language and Collaboration

De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) attended a lecture hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia on July 24, 2026, in Makati City, further strengthening the University's efforts toward international engagement and cross-cultural collaboration. Representing the division were Dr. Nornelyn Cachuela, Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations, and Dr. Irene Gueco, Director of the Linkages and Scholarship Office.

The event featured the BIPA Program (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing), or Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers, a language education initiative that combines language instruction with cultural immersion. Designed to promote a deeper appreciation of Indonesian culture and heritage, the program serves as a valuable platform for fostering mutual understanding and strengthening educational ties between the Philippines and Indonesia.

During the lecture, Embassy representatives shared various opportunities for collaboration with Philippine higher education institutions, including joint research initiatives, scholarship opportunities for students and faculty members, and educational visits to the Indonesian Embassy.

The discussions also highlighted potential areas for partnership in faculty and student mobility programs, cultural immersion activities, and industry linkages that can provide meaningful international exposure and professional opportunities for the DLSU-D community.

DLSU-D Renews Partnership with RGO Review Center to Support Future Psychology Professionals

Strengthening its commitment to student success, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), via the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER), renewed its strategic partnership with the RGO Review Center on July 21, 2026. Through this MOU, graduating Psychology students will continue to receive targeted support and comprehensive preparation for their licensure examinations.

The partnership was forged between the Psychology Department of the College of Liberal Arts and Communication (CLAC) and the RGO Review Center, represented by its Managing Director, Ms. Maerrol P. Ormas. The agreement provides review and preparatory support for graduating students of the AB Psychology and BS Psychology programs as they prepare for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians.

The contract signing was attended by university officials and representatives from both institutions, including Dr. Twinkle Amparo, Vice Provost for Academics; Dr. Nor Cachuela, Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations; Dr. Edwin Lineses, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Communication; Mr. Loreto Camiloza, Chair of the Psychology and Philosophy Department; Dr. Irene Gueco, Director of the Linkages and Scholarship Office; Ms. Agnes Olarte, International Mobility Officer; and Ms. Angelica Watamura and Ms. Karel Lirazan, Review Coordinators.

DLSU-D Scholars Champion Global Sustainability at the 4th International Student Leaders Meeting 2026 in Taiwan

De La Salle University-Dasmariñas proudly celebrates its student scholars, Ghaylle Margarrette Dumalag (BS Economics) and Hanz Wendell Reginio (BS Accountancy), for representing the university and the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) at the 4th International Student Leaders Meeting (ISLM) 2026, held from July 14 to 17 at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) in Taiwan.

Organized by UI GreenMetric, this global summit convened select student leaders worldwide to drive youth-led action for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Representing DLSU-D's rigorous economics and accountancy disciplines, Dumalag and Reginio applied their academic grounding to international discussions on sustainable development, social responsibility, and resource governance.

The participation of Dumalag and Reginio reflects DLSU-D's dedication to nurturing globally engaged student leaders who actively contribute to sustainable development efforts. Their involvement provided valuable opportunities for intercultural learning, leadership development, and international collaboration, further strengthening the University's commitment to sustainability and global citizenship.

Through initiatives such as ISLM 2026, DLSU-D continues to empower its students to become catalysts for positive change and responsible leaders in building a more sustainable future.

DLSU-D Scholars Set to Represent PH at ISLMS 2026 in Taiwan

De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), through the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER), formalized its support for student delegates Hanz Wendell Reginio (BS Accountancy) and Ghaylle Margarrette Dumalag (BSBA Business Economics) during a contract signing ceremony on July 9, ahead of their participation in the 4th International Student Leaders Meeting on Sustainability (ISLMS 2026) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, from July 14–17, 2026.

Jointly organized by UI GreenMetric and the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), ISLMS 2026 gathers 50 outstanding student leaders from 44 universities across 25 countries. The two DLSU-D scholars secured their spots through a highly competitive global selection process.

Under this year’s theme, “Global Youth Leadership for Sustainable Campuses: Driving Innovation, Collaboration and Digital Action,” the four-day conference will focus on empowering youth to advance Climate Action (SDG 13) and Life on Land (SDG 15) through workshops, keynote sessions, and cultural exchanges.

In attendance to support the delegates are Dr. Nornelyn Cachuela, VP for Global Engagement and External Relations; Dr. Irene Gueco, Director of the Linkages and Scholarship Office; Dr. Elma Mallorca, Dean of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA); Ms. Mary May Eulogio, Chair of the Accountancy Department; Ms. Hazel Bautista, Chair of the Allied Business Department; and Ms. Agnes Olarte, International Mobility Officer.

DLSU–D Criminology and Forensic Science Students Showcase Research at Virtual International Conference 2026

Two student researchers from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) represented De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) at the Virtual International Conference 2026, hosted by Universitas Kadiri, Indonesia last July 8, 2026.

Audrey Belle Rubio (BS Criminology) and Gianna Patricia Ababao (BS Forensic Science) presented their paper, "Youth Innovation and Global Collaboration for a Sustainable Future," developed under the guidance of Dr. Rodel Esmilla, Ms. Sarah Jane Mendoza, and Ms. Erizha Mae Aznar.

The CCJE student researchers presented alongside peers from international institutions, including Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Phnom Penh International University (Cambodia), and PERI Institute of Technology (India).
