The City Schools Division of Dasmariñas joins the conduct of the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill on Active Threats today, September 3, 2026, at Dasmariñas East Integrated High School.

After consultations among stakeholders, the drill emphasized the desired reaction mechanism in the Alarm and Response Phases for the Hide procedure under the Lockdown Protocol.

Incorporating the necessary learner safeguarding measures, it was ensured that there were no hyper-realistic depictions of an active aggressor, imitation of fi****ms and deadly weapons, and dangerous role-play in the drill.

Both public and private schools will likewise conduct the said drill subject to prior coordination with the local PNP.

𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬, 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

The City Schools Division of Dasmariñas officially commenced the end-of-term block for Term 1 of the School Year 2026–2027. In line with this academic transition, the division continues to advance and strengthen its athletic programs to foster student excellence in sports.

To support this mission, a specialized training and workshop for athletic teacher-coaches officially launched today, September 2. The three-day initiative focuses on various combative sports disciplines in preparation for the Division’s upcoming sports competitions. Spearheaded by Division Sports Officer Mr. Miguel R. Melendres and OIC-EPS for MAPEH Mr. Prudencio S. Pineda II, the program aims to equip coaches with enhanced technical skills, tactical strategies, and updated training methodologies.

Running from September 2 to September 4, 2026, the workshop is currently being hosted at Paliparan II Integrated High School. This initiative highlights the division's commitment to empowering its educators and building a competitive, resilient athletic delegation.

Gemma Pablo from OSDS-Personnel, Katrezia Fiel Macawile from SGOD-Human Resource Development, and Cesar Chester Relleve from the Curriculum Implementation Division were all recognized as the DASMApaglingkod Employees of the Month for August.

The DASMApaglingkod Employee of the Month is evaluated based on performance excellence, leadership and collaboration, commitment to service, innovation and problem-solving skills, and attendance and punctuality.
