On August 18, 2026, De La Salle Philippines initiative called Project MILES (Ministry Innovations in Lasallian Education) made its way to De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, opening conversations on strengthening the Lasallian mission through innovative approaches to education and formation.

Br. Jose Mari L. Jimenez FSC led the discussion, offering meaningful insights on governance, leadership, formation, and educational initiatives that can further enrich the Institute’s journey in advancing Lasallian education.

The gathering brought together the Project MILES Convenors, Transformation Team, and leaders and administrators of DLSMHSI in an engaging exchange of ideas—reflecting a shared commitment to nurture a stronger, more mission-driven educational community.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Perpetual Profession of Vows of Brother Lawrence Aikee R. Esmeli, FSC.

Continuous heavy rains brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (𝘏𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘵) over the past few days have severely affected families and local communities across Cavite. In response, 𝐃𝐋𝐒𝐌𝐇𝐒𝐈, through the 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 and in partnership with 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐮𝐬, is collecting donations to bring immediate assistance to affected communities.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 10th Anniversary as a De La Salle Brother of Br. Luis Angelo Enriquez, FSC (Br. Weegee), Director of the Lasallian Formation and Ministry Department.

Through his faithful witness, he continues to remind us that Lasallian formation is not simply a program to be attended, but a relationship to be lived. His presence has helped many grow in faith, deepen their sense of purpose, and experience the compassion and fraternity that lie at the heart of the Lasallian mission.

As a Brother, Br. Weegee has touched lives by being available, approachable, and attentive to the needs of others, especially the young. In a world where people often seek to be seen and heard, his ministry of presence has become a powerful expression of God’s love and the enduring spirit of St. John Baptist De La Salle.
