Congratulation to the MedicaLakas/ Biomedical Sciences students for winning the championship of the Women's Volleyball games in the recently concluded EAC 50th Founding Anniversary Celebration!

Special congratulations to Ms. Bernice Kaye Iñigo of the School of Physical Therapy (SPT) for being awarded as the Most Valuable Player!

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: The race for the gold medal in the Talakasan 2023 Women's Volleyball Tournament happened earlier this afternoon, March 14.

MEDICALAKAS has proven that defense can win games. 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦 was hailed as the 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 after beating the School of Tourism and International Hospitality Management (STIHM) in five intense sets: 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 15-25, and 15-13.

The awarding ceremony was held right after the championship game. Inigo, Llanera, and Allam of MEDICALAKAS; Dayrit, Mayuga of STIHM; and Trapsi of the School of Engineering and Technology (SECAT) were named Mythical 6. While the libero from MEDICALAKAS, Bernice Inigo, bags the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
