On March 23, 2026, Edilberto S. Legaspi Integrated High School, in partnership with the Lions Club Foundation led by Assistant School Principal Mr. Vicente D. Revota (Club President), successfully conducted the distribution of reading glasses to selected Grade 7–10 junior high school students.
This initiative aims to support students in improving their reading ability, enhancing classroom participation, and strengthening their overall academic performance by addressing vision challenges.
This meaningful activity highlights how small actions can create a lasting impact. Providing clear vision is not just about eyesight—it is about giving students the confidence to learn, grow, and pursue their goals with clarity and purpose.

A wedding is a beautiful reminder that love grows stronger when two people choose to walk life together, through every season, hand in hand.
On December 23, 2025, one of the biggest milestones in their lives happened as two of my constant friends, Mr. John Francis Castillo and Mrs. Alexsa Tapiador Castillo, tied the knot as husband and wife at San Antonio de Padua Church, Brgy. Pooc, Silang, Cavite.
I can still clearly remember the moment before this special day when they invited me for a car ride (chala) on our way home from NCST, something that usually happened whenever I had to work overtime. At that time, they had not yet done their prenup or save-the-date video. We talked about their wedding plans, and even without seeing them, I could feel their excitement just by the sound of their voices.
Their wedding was intimate and meaningful, attended only by the people who truly matter in their lives. It made me genuinely happy to be part of such a special moment, especially knowing that this friendship started from a simple conversation—four years ago with Ma’am Alex, and almost three years ago with Sir Francis.
During the matrimony, the priest shared a powerful message about how communication, shared stories, and trust are essential in marriage. These values will guide them as they continue to spread love and joy in their new journey together as husband and wife.
The blue hearts symbolize calm love, loyalty, and deep trust, while the rainbow after the rain reminds us that after every challenge comes hope, beauty, and brighter days. May your marriage always reflect these meanings—steady, faithful, and full of promise.
