Collaboration and unity are the key to a successful program. Dasmariñas Integrated High School spearheaded the General Orientation for the Special Program for Journalism. Both parents, students, classroom advisers, and Journalism Coordinators were in full force to enhance and improve the SPJ program through cooperation and providing projects for a secure and conducive learning environment.

🗞️ The Journalism Summer Camp kicks off with the News Writing workshop, now in full swing! Student participants from the Campus Journalism Program are honing their skills in crafting leads, structuring news stories, and writing with accuracy and integrity. It’s a dynamic and meaningful way to spend the summer -- full of learning, collaboration, and fun! 💌

ICYMI: Tagumpay ang kauna-unahang media tour ng mga mag-aaral ng Dasmariñas Integrated High School- Special Program in Journalism na naglalayong mapalawak ang kaalaman hinggil sa idustriya ng media at pamamahayag na ginanap nitong Nobyembre 26.

Binisita ng mga mag-aaral ang Philippine Star, UP College of Media and Communication, GMA Integrated News at Rappler upang makita ang paraan ng paghahanda at pagpili ng balita.

Nagsagawa rin ng open discussions ang media partners patungkol sa ethics, epekto ng social media at ang hamon ng pagiging journalist sa digital age.

Nag-iwan ng mahalagang mensahe si Asst. Manager for Radio Operations, GMA Network Rowena Salvacion hinggil sa halaga ng isang journalist sa lipunan.

“Walang pwedeng magsabi na hindi kayo bagay dito at hindi ito para sa inyo. Walang sinuman ang pwedeng magsabi na hindi ninyo kaya. Ipakita n’yong kaya n’yo,” ani Salvacion.

Patunay na ang hakbanging ito ay magbibigay ng praktikal na karanasan upang maihanda sa hamon ng industriya ang mga mag-aaral.

Inaasahang mas marami pang mag-aaral ang magiging bahagi ng nasabing media tour.

The screening for the SECOND AND FINAL BATCH of aspiring SPJ students will take place TOMORROW, July 19, 2024, 9:00AM at the DIHS Building 5, Room 1!

This exam is a vital step in your path to becoming a freshman student, aimed at assessing your skills and knowledge in essential areas of journalism.
