The city of Dasmariñas, Cavite confirmed its third case of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Congressman Elpidio "Pidi" Barzaga Jr. announced in a Facebook post on Thursday, March 26.
The patient, a 50-year-old married woman with no travel history, consulted Dasmariñas City Medical Center on March 16 after showing symptoms like fever, cough and difficulty and breathing. She was admitted in the hospital on the same day and underwent swab testing on March 17.
Barzaga also reminded the residents of Dasmariñas City to "abide the rules of the enhanced community quarantine."
