Get ready for a month of mind-blowing challenges designed to test your knowledge, creativity, and teamwork skills! ESLIHS is proud to present:

- 🧠 Science Quiz Bee: Are you the ultimate science whiz? Prove it!
- 💀 Interactive Anatomy Challenge: Time to get hands-on and explore the wonders of the human body!
- 💧 Water Filter Challenge: Can you engineer a solution to purify water? Let's find out!

Specific Event Guidelines

Science Quiz Bee

- Eligibility: All currently enrolled ESLIHS students.
- Format: Individual competition; 1 representative per class.
- Content: Junior High (Grades 7-10) Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Math.
- Rounds: 15 questions total: 10 easy (10 seconds), 5 average (15-20 mins), 5 clinchers (1-3 mins).
- Winning: Top 3 highest scores win. Tiebreaker if needed.
- Conduct: Strict rules; misbehavior = disqualification.

Interactive Anatomy Challenge

- Objective: Hands-on anatomical knowledge & teamwork.
- Team: Individuals or teams of 2.
- Rounds:
1. Assembly: Reassemble torso model.
2. Identification: Identify organs/structures.
- Scoring: Accuracy, speed, clarity of explanations.
- Materials: Only official torso model provided.
- Prohibited: No external aids (phones, notes, books).
- Behavior: Respectful, collaborative.

Water Filter Challenge

- Goal: Design & build effective water filter.
- Rounds:
1. Elimination: Present design & demonstrate function.
2. Final: Filter specific water amount.
- Materials: Provided by organizers (some extras allowed w/ approval).
- Judging Criteria:
- Effectiveness: Impurity removal.
- Speed: Filtration rate.
- Clarity: Water appearance.
- Design: Innovation & practicality.

General Notes (All Events)

- Judges' decisions = final.
- Academic integrity & respect required.

Dengue Prevention and Awareness: A Clean-Up Initiative by Edilbertians! 🏫🌿

Dengue remains a serious health concern, but with teamwork and proactive efforts, we can help prevent its spread! To strengthen our fight against dengue, the student of edilberto conducted a School Clean-Up Drive to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds and ensure a safer environment for everyone.

Let’s all do our part in keeping our school and community dengue-free! 🌱🚯💪

On September 28, 2024, science department participated in another productive activity (a clean-up drive) 🧹🚮. A big thanks to Kapt Fernando Laudato for providing services from man power (drivers, tanod, medic) assistance and tour guide for making our activity successful. Also, a big thanks to BJMP Dasmariñas Cityjail FemaleDorm and National University - Dasmariñas for accepting our invite. 😊 To our beloved principal Sir Nicanor Reyes ll thank you for suggesting this activity and for the support for this activity. ☘️🌱

Motivated by this action, Yes-o together with SCI-PEL club enthusiastically joined the clean-up drive, 💪💫 demonstrating their commitment to making a difference. 💚✨ Together, we strengthened our mission to protect the Earth for future generations. 🫶🌼

This activity will definitely heighten the awareness and consciousness of the community, encourage community attention and action on current environmental issues and concerns and promote behavioral change towards sustainable development. ✨💯
