𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | Beyond the rainbow logos and Pride Month posts—what does real acceptance look like? Is it found in celebration, or in choosing to respect, listen to, and stand beside people long after June ends?

𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐘 | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁

When the world feels too heavy and my reflection looks like a stranger I no longer wish to know. "I want you to live as me for just one day, so you could finally understand how lovely you are to me." is the sanctuary you love to offer.

It is a beautiful mercy, the thought of seeing myself through the eyes of your devotion. To know why you look at me that way, is to see my own flaws transformed into graces.

But if that would be a possibility, I will not take it. I would choose to stay behind, anchored in my own skin.

Because I know the way you love. I know that for you to hold me in such high, holy regard, you have hollowed out a space within yourself that you refuse to fill. To live as you would be to inherit not just your adoration for me, but the harrowing weight of how much you despise yourself. I would have to feel the way you pick at your own edges, the way you apologize for the space you occupy, and the quiet, persistent cruelty you visit upon your own soul while you are busy adoring mine.

I cannot bear to inhabit a house where the occupant is treated like a trespasser. I cannot live in a heart that beats with devotion for me, yet stutters with shame for itself.

So, I will decline the trade. I will remain here, on the outside, occupying this vantage point you find so difficult to claim. I will live as me, so that I can spend every hour of every day being the mirror you refuse to look into. I will stay in this body so I can hold yours; I will keep these eyes so I can show you the version of yourself that is untainted by your own doubt. I will remain the witness to your grace, proving to you that you are lovely—not because of what you do for me, but simply because you exist.

𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗪!
𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐚 | 𝐕𝐨𝐥. 𝟏 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞. 𝟏

Rooted in the narratives that live and linger within the halls of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas, Los Sueños is excited to share the first issue of Sinergia for the Regal community. As the official student publication of KLD, this e-magazine unveils stories, artworks, and perspectives that reflect the voices and experiences of the student body.

This is where our individual sparks ignite a collective flame—a chorus of distinct echoes finding a single, resonant chord. More than just a collection of pages, Sinergia is the rhythmic pulse of the Regal spirit; it is a mosaic of shared dreams, proving that while our stories are uniquely our own, they bloom most beautifully when gathered as one.

𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐍 | 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐤 𝐀𝐲𝐚𝐰, 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟏 𝐆𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨? 𝐀𝐧𝐨 𝐁𝐚 𝐓𝐨

Ayaw ko nang pumasok.

Nakakapagod din pala magpanggap—yung kunwari may ambag ako, kunwari may silbi ako, kunwari may pakialam ako. Araw-araw, paulit-ulit lang ang eksena. May gumagawa, may nag-iisip, may nagbubuhat, at may tulad kong nakatunganga.

Nakakatawa, ‘no?

Ano ba to!

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠 | The halls of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas are buzzing with a renewed sense of purpose as the 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘂𝗺 takes center present. This isn't just another academic requirement; it is a grand event where months of late-night data crunching, exhaustive literature reviews, and caffeine-fueled brainstorming finally transform into groundbreaking insights. Under the banner of this year’s theme, “𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵” our student-researchers are proving that the future of progress lies at the intersection of various fields of study.

From the very first "Regal morning" at the registration desk to the last notes of the KLD Hymn, the atmosphere is electric with the collective intellect of students ready to defend their hard-earned work and contribute to a growing culture of inquiry.

The journey begins with the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, where the nuances of human nature and society are pulled apart and examined with scientific precision. As the comprehensive speakers share their expertise, they light a fire under the BS Psychology students, who step up to the podium not just as learners, but as undeveloped researchers ready to challenge the status quo.

The momentum only builds as the afternoon shifts focus to the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 and the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘆, highlighting the exhilarating intersection of rigorous research and compassionate care – a genuine testament to the diverse excellence fostered within our community.

As we transition into the second day, the spotlight turns toward the future of technology and innovation with the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Here, capstone projects bridge the gap between conceptual code and real world solutions, proving that the next generation of KLD Regals is more than ready to navigate the complexities of the digital age. The air remains intense with anticipation until the very end, culminating in the inspiring Awarding Ceremonies. Whether it’s for Best Paper, Best Presenter, or Best Poster, these accolades celebrate the grit and determination it takes to push the boundaries of knowledge.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗟𝗗, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲—𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

It’s about the collaborative spirit between students, faculty reactors, and the administration, all working in harmony to foster an environment where academic excellence thrives. As the photos are taken and the evaluations are submitted, we leave the colloquium not just with certificates, but with a deeper understanding of our world and a shared pride in the sophisticated legacy we are building together.
