HIGHLIGHTS | NU SOUTHSIDE CAMPUSES

A meaningful gathering and learning opportunity brought together representatives from NU Lipa, NU Dasmariñas, and NU Laguna, and NU Manila at De La Salle University – Manila.

The event focused on Coffee Science, its operations, and the opportunities it provides to the community, providing participants with valuable knowledge on the science behind coffee and its potential applications in academic and community settings.

The discussion was led by Dr. Emmanuel Garcia, Director of La Salle Food and Water Institute, together with Mr. Vince Santos, Coffee Trading Specialist from Gourmet Farms, Inc., offered valuable insights into coffee science, industry practices, and emerging opportunities.

The session emphasized academic and research opportunities that promote science literacy, innovation, and community impact, while highlighting alumni engagement in connecting the university with industry knowledge and professional opportunities.

This initiative was spearheaded by Mr. Benjamin F. Uichico, Managing Director of NU Laguna and NU Alumni Consultant, supporting meaningful knowledge exchange and opportunities for the NU community and its alumni. 💙💛
