The MAPEH Department of Salawag National High School conducted a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session on July 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, entitled “Strengthening Teachers' Competence in Teaching and Coaching Arnis.”

The session focused on enhancing teachers' competence in teaching and coaching Arnis through discussions and demonstrations of fundamental techniques, instructional strategies, essential drills, safety practices, and training activities that can be effectively applied in both classroom instruction and school sports programs.

More than a professional learning activity, the LAC session provided an opportunity for MAPEH teachers to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another. Through collaborative discussions and practical applications, participants strengthened their readiness to deliver more meaningful learning experiences and support learners in developing their skills and appreciation for Arnis.

The MAPEH Department remains committed to fostering continuous professional growth through collaborative learning and the sharing of best practices in support of quality education.
