𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐈𝐇𝐒 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬
In its continuing commitment to ensuring a safe and secure learning environment, Emmanuel Resurreccion Congressional Integrated High School (ERCIHS) conducted a General Faculty Meeting focused on danger preparedness. The activity aimed to equip teaching and non-teaching personnel with the knowledge, awareness, and practical skills needed to respond effectively during emergency situations.
Leading the discussion was PCSM Maria Victoria Mirilyana, WCPD PNCO of the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station, who emphasized the importance of vigilance, preparedness, and coordinated action in maintaining a safe school environment.
Members of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit, PCPL Bonn Alfon C. Samaniego and PCPL William P. Acebron, delivered an informative session on active shooter response protocols, situational awareness, evacuation procedures, and lockdown measures. They provided practical guidance on how school personnel can respond calmly and effectively during critical incidents.
Also present was Barangay Captain Fernando Narvaez of Barangay San Agustin II, who assured the faculty and staff that the barangay remains a dependable partner in ensuring the safety of the school community.
The meeting was also graced by Dr. Mark Jayson G. Espinosa, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of Cluster IV, who acknowledged the emotions and concerns felt by school personnel in light of recent events. He emphasized that every feeling of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty is valid, encouraging everyone to support one another while remaining focused on preparedness and resilience.
Ms. Ivy Joy D. Pelayo, School Principal IV of ERCIHS, reaffirmed that the security, safety, and protection of both learners and personnel remain the school's highest priority. She highlighted the importance of proactive planning and continuous capacity-building to ensure that ERCIHS remains a secure and conducive environment for teaching and learning.
The initiative reflects ERCIHS's unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience. By partnering with law enforcement professionals, the school continues to strengthen its safety programs and ensure that all personnel are equipped to respond confidently and effectively should the need arise.
