CONSULTATION MEETING: TUPC Extension Project x R.A. Aguilar Construction Services
To ensure the effective implementation of the Extension Project led by Prof. Jessie C. Saulog, a formal consultation was held at the R.A. Aguilar Construction Services Corp office, today February 23, 2026.
The primary agenda centered on the provisions of the MOU and MOA, aligning the goals of the university with the technical capabilities of our industry partner. The meeting was graced by Dr. Luis D. Dulnuan Jr., Asst. Director for Research and Extension , Ms. Ma. Juliet Patria D. Escalona, Head of Extension Services, and the top management of R.A. Aguilar Construction Services, Engr. Roderick A. Aguilar, Company President and Engr. Baltazar Q. Mendoza, Vice President.

LOOK: R & E Office Management Turnover Ceremony
January 26, 2026 – Photo highlights from the turnover ceremony of the Research and Extension (R&E) Office, honoring the dedicated service and invaluable contributions of the outgoing management team—Prof. Jean Rose A. Esguerra (Assistant Director for Research and Extension), Mr. Roberto L. Rodriguez Jr. (Head, Office of Research Services), and Prof. Edmundo G. Frias (Head, Office of Extension Services). Their leadership and commitment have laid a strong foundation for what TUPC Research and Extension has become today.
The ceremony also marked the formal assumption of office of the newly designated management team—Dr. Luis L. Dulnuan Jr. (Assistant Director for Research and Extension), Engr. Darius L. Fajardo (Head, Office of Research Services), and Ms. Ma. Juliet Patria D. Escalona (Head, Office of Extension Services)—as they take on their roles in further advancing the University’s research, extension, and innovation agenda.
Also present were Engr. Farah Nicole P. Dela Cruz, who continues to serve as the Coordinator of the Office of Technology Licensing, together with Mr. Ben Joseph S. Romanillos (Staff, Office of Research Services) and Mr. Patrick Jay A. Butial (Staff, Office of Extension Services), who continue to support the operations and programs of the Research and Extension Offices.
Meanwhile, Prof. Michelle M. Mag-isa, Prof. Jay Victor G. Gumboc, Dr. Gatsby A. Valdemoro, and Engr. Jomari A. Picar have been appointed as Research and Extension Coordinators.

Building evidence-based decisions through Impact Assessment.
We are pleased to invite you to the Impact Assessment Training on March 18 - 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM—12:00 PM daily via Zoom. This training is open for socio-economics researchers, students, and practitioners. Knowing Stata is an advantage.
The three-day training is composed of the following topics:
Topic 1: Introduction to Experimental Design for Impact Assessment
Topic 2: Randomized Control Trials in Economics
Topic 3: Quasi-Experimental Design for Impact Assessment: Difference in Difference
Topic 4: Quasi-Experimental Design for Impact Assessment: Propensity Score Matching
The training has limited slots, so please provide us with the following details through the online registration form to secure your slot. Accepted participants will be notified and must pay a registration fee of ₱1,250.00. The registration period is open until March 7, 2026. Shortlisted participants will be notified through an acceptance letter starting February 20, 2026.
