Last Saturday, May 02, 2026, KLD-IOE spent the day breaking down the science of safety at our latest Earthquake Preparedness Seminar! It’s about more than just "Duck, Cover, and Hold." It’s about understanding our environment, recognizing structural risks, and looking out for one another. When the ground shakes, readiness is what keeps us standing tall.

Our deepest gratitude goes out to the community of Brgy. Victoria Reyes for their warm welcome and participation, as well as to our dedicated professors who shared their invaluable expertise in the field. We would like to extend a special acknowledgment to our Associate Dean, Engr. Jhon Cristian Colesio and our Dean, Engr. Sharing the highlights from the 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐇 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 held last April 29, 2026, at Gym CB2. This milestone officially marks the journey of our 𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 as they become certified 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 2 passers. Congratulations to all newly qualified 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 2!

KLD- Institute of Engineering continues to champion industry standards by successfully certifying 583 future civil engineers as Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Safety Officer 2 (SO2).

In a collaboration with Atsoca Training Center and Think Safe Inc., 234 second-year and 349 third-year BSCE students completed the training on April 29, 2026, gaining critical expertise in hazard identification, risk mitigation, and OSH frameworks.

By integrating this specialized certification into the academic journey, KLD ensures its graduates are not only technically proficient but also deeply committed to life-saving protocols, providing them a significant competitive advantage in the engineering field. This milestone reflects KLD’s dedication to producing industry-ready professionals who prioritize safety and excellence on the job site.
