Good morning ✨Here are some facts about our advocacy 😊
Let's not preach and we should not fill our pages with toxic positivity. Instead, let us recognize the pain and inconvenience of life presence.
"When positivity is forced to cover up or silence the human experience, it becomes toxic. "
- Dr. Shweta Sharma

Good day everyone! We are Liwanag Advocates from Grade 11 STEM 6 MAPAGLINGKOD of Emilio Aguinaldo College-Cavite.
Many in our society don't know about toxic positivity, and we encourage you to read and know what and how to avoid toxic positivity.
"Toxic Positivity"
Toxic positivity is a societal assumption that a person, despite their emotional illness or the gravity of their situation, should only strive to have a positive outlook. For example you see someone with a problem and you say "you can get over it" which is a kind of toxic positivity , instead of saying that you should say "difficult but I believe you". Having a mindset of toxic possibility may also cause a person to overlook a certain situation on which he/she may not grasp the severity of the situation and just purely looking at the positive side of it. This may lead to him/her not being able to really solve the situation.
