Danhill Academy Holds General Parent’s Orientation

Dasmariñas, Cavite — June 2026

Danhill Academy Inc. successfully conducted its General Parent’s Orientation, bringing together parents, teachers, and administrators to discuss important updates for the upcoming school year. The event highlighted new policies, classroom activities, and collaborative efforts to strengthen the school–home partnership.

During the General Parent’s Orientation at Danhill Academy, the seminar discussions became the heart of the program, fostering collaboration between parents and educators.

Policy Updates: Facilitators presented the new Three-Term System guidelines from DepEd, explaining how the calendar shift aims to balance academic workload and improve student outcomes. Parents were encouraged to ask questions to clarify how this change would affect their children’s schedules.

Student Welfare: Teachers emphasized discipline policies, safety measures, and the importance of appropriate attire, reinforcing the school’s commitment to a secure and respectful learning environment.

Academic Programs: The orientation highlighted enrichment activities, classroom innovations, and group learning strategies. Parents were shown how these programs align with DepEd standards while nurturing holistic development.

Danhill Academy reaffirmed its dedication to providing quality education aligned with DepEd standards. The orientation served not only as an information session but also as a platform to strengthen trust between the institution and families.

Danhill Academy Is Ready

Students and Staff Participate in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill*

Danhill Academy successfully joined the “2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)”,demonstrating the school's preparedness and commitment to ensuring the safety of its students, teachers, and staff during emergencies.

During the drill, students calmly and promptly performed the recommended “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure inside their classrooms. Guided by their teachers, learners took shelter under desks and protected their heads and necks, following established earthquake safety protocols.

After the simulated earthquake, participants proceeded with the evacuation process in an orderly manner and gathered at designated safe areas within the school grounds. Students also practiced safety measures while waiting for further instructions from school authorities.

The activity aimed to increase awareness and preparedness for earthquake-related emergencies while reinforcing the importance of remaining calm and alert during disaster situations. The drill also allowed the school community to assess its readiness and response procedures.

Through active participation in the nationwide exercise, Danhill Academy once again demonstrated that safety remains a top priority and that its learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies.

We would like to inform our dear students and parents that classes tomorrow, June 19, 2026, will follow a shortened schedule. All students will be dismissed early to give way to important school activities.

We are pleased to inform everyone that face‑to‑face classes will resume tomorrow, June 18, 2026! 🏫✨

After a thorough inspection by a licensed technician, it was confirmed that our school’s electrical system is safe and fully functional. Yesterday’s interruption was simply due to a power outage in the area.

Class Schedule & Attire:

Thursday (June 18): P.E. Uniform for old students, civilian attire for new students

Friday (June 19): Foundation Jersey for old students, decent civilian clothes for new students

We’ll also discuss the Friday class setup during the Parents’ Orientation on June 19, 2026 at 3:00 pm. Your presence is greatly appreciated.

Due to the ongoing power outage in our school, classes will be conducted online tomorrow, June 17,2026.

Based on the initial assessment, the electrical system was unable to handle the simultaneous use of the air-conditioning units, which caused the interruption.

Although we are eager to continue teaching our students face-to-face, situations like this are beyond our control. We ask for your understanding as we wait for the power to be restored.

Rest assured that any missed activities or class hours will be made up once normal operations resume.
