📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
BAG INSPECTION GUIDELINES
Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 with our commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and motivating learning environment, our New Era Elementary School (NEES) will be strictly implementing routine bag inspection checks at the school entrance.
Please take note of the following important guidelines to ensure a smooth entry for everyone:
🎒 1. General Provision & Purpose
Who is covered?:
All learners, school personnel, and visitors must submit their bags for inspection upon entering the campus.
Why?:
To maintain a secure environment and safeguard the welfare of everyone on the school premises.
👮 2. Authorized Personnel
Inspections will be conducted by authorized individuals only:
- Primary: Licensed Security Personnel.
- Secondary (if no security is available): Designated non-teaching staff or authorized SPTA members.
🛡️ 3. Strict Non-Contact Methods
To respect personal boundaries, inspections will only use non-contact methods, including:
- Electronic Scanners
- Handheld Metal Detectors
- Search Sticks
⚠️ Strict Prohibitions:
"Stop and Frisk" and physical pat-downs are strictly prohibited. Personnel are instructed to avoid touching personal belongings unless absolutely necessary to clear the view.
💼 4. Protocol for Full Searches
If reasonable suspicion exists, the learner will not be searched at the gate. Instead, they will be escorted to the Principal’s Office, where a full search will be conducted only in the presence of a Guidance Counselor or designated staff.
