𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟬𝟮, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

In pursuit of a more defined, transparent, and democratic electoral process, the Student Electoral Commission formally adopts SEC Resolution No. 02, s. 2025–2026, establishing the guidelines on the effect of 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and the conduct of 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

This resolution recognizes 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 and clarifies its role in determining electoral mandate, 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆. It further provides mechanisms for special elections in instances where positions remain unresolved.

Through this measure, the Commission reaffirms its commitment to uphold fair, credible, and accountable student elections grounded on representation, participation, and democratic integrity.

A total of 𝟱𝟰𝟯 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟯𝟳𝟳 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗥𝗦𝗩) 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 exercised their right to vote, marking the close of one of the most vital processes in sustaining student democracy.

Through every ballot cast, voices were heard, choices were made, and the spirit of participative leadership prevailed within the College Community.

𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗡 𝗕𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧

In accordance with Resolution No. 1, Series of 2025–2026, Article IX, Section 5, the Student Electoral Commission formally implements the Campaign Ban effective today, 05 May 2026.

All forms of campaigning—including verbal endorsements, social media promotion, distribution of campaign materials, and solicitations—are strictly prohibited within the prescribed period prior to and during Voting Day.

This measure is enforced to uphold the integrity, fairness, and impartiality of the electoral process.

All candidates are expected to comply fully. Any violation shall be subject to appropriate sanctions under the Commission’s official guidelines.
