Through the 1st Quarter MOOE, Cagutsan Elementary School successfully procured and distributed essential materials and supplies in preparation for the End of School Year rites, particularly the Graduation and Moving-Up Ceremonies. This initiative ensures a smooth, organized, and meaningful celebration of our learners’ achievements while continuously supporting daily teaching and learning needs. 🎓📚

On November 6, 2025, Cagutsan Elementary School actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) in line with DepEd Division Memorandum No. 489, s. 2025. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience among students and staff, ensuring everyone is ready to respond safely during seismic events.

The drill began with a briefing on proper safety behavior and a review of the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique. Observers monitored adherence to protocols and timing to ensure the drill was effective.

To further enhance learning, demonstrations on first aid, fire safety, and building inspections were conducted. A post-drill evaluation wrapped up the activity, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement. The drill reinforced the importance of preparedness, safety, and discipline in building a resilient school community.

Cagutsan Elementary School actively observed Global Handwashing Day 2025 to promote proper hand hygiene as a simple yet effective way to prevent illnesses and keep everyone healthy. The activity included a short orientation on the importance of proper handwashing and tooth brushing, helping pupils understand how good hygiene practices contribute to overall well-being.

A live demonstration on proper handwashing and tooth brushing techniques followed, led by Teacher Luz Ann B. Gabon, with pupils actively participating and practicing the steps. Through this engaging and hands-on activity, learners were encouraged to make proper hygiene a daily habit for a cleaner, safer, and healthier school community.

Guided by the theme “Service, Innovation, and Scouting for All,” Cagutsan Elementary School celebrated Scouting Month 2025 with activities that strengthened leadership, discipline, teamwork, and environmental responsibility among our young scouts. The celebration officially opened on October 7, 2025, led by School Scouting Coordinator Ms. Armielyn Q. Totanes, highlighted by an opening program and a community parade within the barangay.

The scouts actively took part in a Tree Planting Activity and a Coastal Clean-Up at Sitio Cagutsan, promoting environmental stewardship and community service. A simple Boodle Fight after the clean-up symbolized unity and shared accomplishment among scouts, teachers, and leaders.

The celebration concluded with a Closing Program, recognizing the efforts and participation of everyone involved. Scouting Month 2025 truly reflected the spirit of service, unity, and commitment in our school community.

Cagutsan Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Zumarraga District LR Monitoring Team—Ma’am Rowena M. Iso, Sir Shewin I. Uy, Ma’am Ma. Lissa M. Montalban, and Sir Roderick Labasbas—for their time, effort, and valuable technical assistance during the Inter-District LR Monitoring Activity on October 15, 2025.

Through the 3rd Quarter MOOE, Cagutsan Elementary School was able to purchase and distribute essential school materials and supplies to support daily teaching and learning needs. 📝

Part of the allocation was also used for the on going construction and repair of our new classroom with kitchen and comfort room — a soon-to-be functional space that will greatly contribute to the school’s expansion and development. 🏫🏗️
