Last September 23, 2026, the BUCBEM College Student Council eagerly participated in ๐๐š๐ง๐ ๐ค๐จ ๐’๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐ง๐  ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฌ (๐๐’๐) "๐—˜๐—ธ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ผ๐— ๐—˜๐˜†๐—ฎ: ๐—˜๐—ธ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜†๐—ฎ + ๐—”๐—ธ๐—ผ", an event dedicated to raising awareness about personal financing and budgeting. With the theme, "๐‘ญ๐’“๐’๐’Ž ๐‘จ๐’˜๐’‚๐’“๐’†๐’๐’†๐’”๐’” ๐’•๐’ ๐‘จ๐’„๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’: ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’Œ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘บ๐’Ž๐’‚๐’“๐’• ๐‘ด๐’๐’๐’†๐’š ๐‘ซ๐’†๐’„๐’Š๐’”๐’Š๐’๐’๐’” ๐‘ฌ๐’‚๐’“๐’๐’š", students from Bicol University and other universities gathered at The Pepperland Hotel from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.

The program opened with insightful opening remarks, setting the tone for a day of learning. The first session, ๐„๐œ๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐œ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ (๐“๐ก๐ž ๐๐ข๐  ๐๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž), helped participants understand how BSP influences everyday lives. This was followed by ๐’๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ: ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ, which tackled the fundamentals of personal financial management, highlighting the importance of saving, budgeting, and making informed spending decisions. The learning continued with ๐’๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ‘: ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‡๐š๐›๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ž๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ฌ, where students reflected on their financial behaviors and explored strategies to build stronger, smarter habits for the future.

The sessions concluded with a renewed sense of awareness and responsibility, leaving participants inspired to translate knowledge into action.
