We currently have ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ ๐›๐ข๐  ๐›๐š๐ ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž-๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ ๐œ๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ that we would like to donate and put to good use. Rather than letting them stay unused, we hope to pass them on to people or communities who may need them.

As sociology students, we believe in the importance of reciprocity and collective action. Through this simple initiative, we hope to contribute to our community and turn individual contributions into something that can benefit others.

The making of the arc became a shared effort among the Socio Seniors, as many came together to contribute their ideas, time, and hard work in bringing the vision to life. The process came with its own challenges, but we kept going because we shared the same goal, faith in what we could accomplish, and trust in one another, every late preparation, every task, and every helping hand became part of something bigger.

Inspired by the vibrant spirit of the Ati-Atihan, the arc carries elements that reflect the identity of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy and the pride we have as CSSPinians ๐Ÿฆโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ From the painting, decorating, and final touches, every part was made with purpose and with the desire to create something we could proudly represent.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who remained present and willing to help throughout the entire process. To those who consistently showed up, shared their time and effort, and helped whenever needed, your presence made a meaningful difference. Bilang pagalala sa nagdaang ika-54 na anibersaryo ng pagdeklara ng Martial Law at ang madilim na kasaysayang naiwan ng diktadurya sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng dating Pangulong Marcos Sr, ating balik-tanawin ang naisagawang pagsasadula ng Socio Senior sa kanilang unang taon sa kolehiyo. Sa pamagat na โ€œ๐—จ๐—ฃ๐—จ๐—”๐—กโ€ at sa direksyon ni ๐Œ๐ข๐ค๐š๐ž๐ฅ๐š ๐‡. ๐ƒ๐ž ๐•๐ž๐ซ๐š (happy bday, teh), lantarang nailahad ang masalimuot na katotohanang nararanasan sa sistema ng bansa. Sa pagtalakay sa agwat sa kapangyarihan ng mayaman at mahirap, hindi pagkakapantay-pantay sa oportunidad, at sa tatsulok na pamamahala ng gobyerno, naglalayong ibunyag ng โ€œUPUANโ€ ang hindi makatarungang karanasan ng mga nasa laylayan.

Tulad sa kabanatang naisulat patungkol sa Martial Law, bawat paninikil sa karapatang pantao, karahasan, at pang-aabuso ay hindi kailanman nararapat mabura sa isip at puso ng bawat Pilipino. Ito ang tanda sa halaga ng kalayaan, katotohanan, at demokrasya ng bansa.

Kaya naman, muli nating hagilapin at alalahanin ang kwento ng karakter ng mag-asawang sina Eduardo at Ligaya sa kanilang pakikibaka sa trahedya na dulot ng mga nakakataas sa lipunan. At muling itatak sa pusoโ€™t isipan ang nakaraang nagiwan ng bakas sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

Every food tastes better when shared with everybody. This was proven when the Socio Seniors gladly joined a feast of fun and joy, as they took part in the ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ž ๐…๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ segment ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ during the ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ 2 of the 22๐๐ƒ ๐‚๐’๐’๐ ๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ. All thanks to each block for sharing this moment with us, and for Socio 4 Block Officers for bringing foods, such as lumpia and ice cream, and for facilitating such a wondrous event. Undoubtedly, this day marked a special place for every Socio studentโ€™s heart.

Despite the rainy morning, our Sociology Seniors showed up with enthusiasm and energy, joining fellow CSSPians in the much-awaited ๐‚๐’๐’๐ ๐‹๐š๐ซ๐จ ๐ง๐  ๐‹๐š๐ก๐ข. The weather may have been gloomy, but it never dampened the fun, camaraderie, and competitive spirit of the Sociology Seniors. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ
