Bicol University ETEEAP Programs recently underwent an Onsite Evaluation and Revalidation Visit for its Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), reaffirming the University’s commitment to quality assurance and excellence in alternative higher education pathways.

BU ETEEAP extends its sincere gratitude to the Technical Panel members, Dr. Bashiruddin A. Ajihil and Dr. Alexander Franco A. Delantar; the OPSD representative, Ms. Mely Mar T. Perez; and the CHED Regional Office V representatives, Dr. Karen Iniego and Dr. Michael Bibon, for their expertise and valuable support during the activity.

The visit included an opening program, followed by a thorough evaluation process covering document review, validation of institutional processes, and facility inspection to assess program compliance and sustainability.

BU ETEEAP likewise acknowledges the support of all BU officials and personnel, faculty members, students, and staff whose efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the onsite evaluation and revalidation visit.

Bicol University joins the nationwide launch of the ETEEAP National Registration and Onboarding for Lifelong Learning Overseas Filipino Workers (ENROLL OFWs) Online Enlistment System on April 7, 2026 (2:00PM).

This initiative by CHED aims to provide accessible pathways for OFWs to earn a degree through ETEEAP.

Dr. Benedicto B. Balilo Jr., ETEEAP Director, attended the PSITE National Convention 2026 in Legazpi City, Albay, joined by over 300 participants from various institutions nationwide.

With the theme “PSITE 2.0: Augmenting Education, Connecting Community, and Thriving with AI,” the convention features a series of plenary and technical sessions on emerging trends and developments in information technology and education.

The three-day event continues to serve as a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and advancing technology-driven education.

Dr. Benedicto B. Balilo Jr., Director of the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), visited the BS Fisheries program in Tabaco City on March 10, 2026—one of the programs offered under Bicol University ETEEAP. During the visit, he was joined by Prof. Aldrin Macale of the BS Fisheries program.

The visit was part of the ongoing preparations and coordination efforts for the program’s upcoming revalidation. This initiative also provided BU ETEEAP an opportunity to strengthen coordination with program implementers and ensure that all requirements and standards are properly met.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗦 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗔𝗣

A productive meeting was held to review and clarify key processes for the semester. Discussions focused on special teaching schedules, tutoring and assessment plans, faculty designations, grading procedures, and learning resources for students.

Big thanks to Mr. Justine J. Baldovino for clearly explaining the system-related processes and scheduling concerns, as well as to the Faculty Experts for their insights, cooperation, and commitment to the program.

BU ETEEAP remains committed to improving its programs and providing strong, student-centered support to ensure a more efficient and meaningful ETEEAP learning experience.
