RVAlbay San Vicente Grande HS This started with a hundred freshmen and 3 teachers borrowed from Anislag National High School which served as its mother school.

History:

With the dream of providing accessible quality secondary education for all the elementary graduates of the barangay and the neigboring communities, San Vicente Grande High School was opened in 1994. In its almost 16 years of existence, the school has produced graduates who are now successful in their chosen fields of endeavour. This has improved the socio-economic status of the families

and the barangays as well. The school caters to the educational needs of high students of San Vicente Grande and those from San Ramon, Bigao, San Rafael, Nabasan, Ibaugan as well as the nearby barangays of Catamlangan, Pinagsalog, Millabas and Lourdes of Pilar, Sorsogon. Presently, the school has ten teachers who provide the instruction and a school head who manages the school towards the achievement of its vision and mission.

The school actively participated in the Simultaneous National Earthquake Drill (SNED) on June 19, 2026, demonstrating readiness and commitment to disaster preparedness and safety.

During the drill, learners and personnel practiced proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedures and followed evacuation protocols to ensure safety during an earthquake scenario.

The participation of SVGHS highlights its continued commitment to building a safe, resilient, and prepared school community.
