𝐘𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓 | The Daraga Municipal Library and Information Center, regarded as one of the "𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝟰𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿" at the Tech4ED Awards, added another milestone in the ICT empowerment in the Bicol Region.

The Library together with the librarian and staff at the helm, is one of the province front-runners in making notable initiatives and programs in harnessing the information and communications technology to provide opportunities for employment and empower entrepreneurs.

Tech4ED is a project of the DOST-ICT Office that stands for Technology for Education, to gain Employment, train Entrepreneurs towards Economic Development.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒! 🎉

𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗔 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 was awarded as the 3rd placer for Outstanding Tech4ed Center of the Bicol Search for the Outstanding Tech4ed Center Awards for the year 2022. The award was given by the Department of Information and Communications Technology.

The recognition is given to centers for their exemplary performance and contribution to the growth and advancement of the community and the Filipino people through the innovative and highly effective utilization of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Envisioned to give beneficiaries the needed recognition for their efforts as a valuable knowledge center in their area, the awards seeks to recognize the best and finest Tech4ed Center.

Library Connect: Homework & Tutorial Help is a face to face program of the Daraga Municipal Library and Information Center that envisions to bring together education major, professional, and volunteers to help learners on a tough homework or conduct tutorial to the students who encountered difficult lessons in the classroom. The program begins this Saturday, September 10, 2022. Volunteer tutors will be contacted by our staff for scheduling.
